Refund policy
The Empty Jar Promise
You have 60 days from the day your order arrives to put us to work. Use it. Finish the jar. Run the full routine. If your butt isn't impressed, email us and we'll refund the product, no questions asked.
Empty jar, half-empty jar, full jar. Doesn't matter to us. We'd rather you actually use it than send something back unopened because you got nervous on day three.
A few honest details:
- 60 days starts the day your order is delivered, not the day you ordered it
- One refund per product, per customer
- Bundles are refunded as a set, not piece by piece
- Shipping costs aren't refundable (the carriers already got paid)
- The Empty Jar Promise covers products purchased on buttface.com only. Anything bought from a retailer goes through their return policy.
To start a refund, email info@buttface.com with your order number and we'll take it from there. We may ask you to send the empty (or partially empty) container back to:

If we ask you to ship it back, we'll send you a prepaid label. Don't ship anything back without contacting us first or we won't be able to track it to your order.
Damaged or Wrong Items
Inspect your order when it arrives. If something's broken, leaking, or not what you ordered, email info@buttface.com right away with a photo and your order number. We'll make it right immediately. You don't need to wait or jump through the 60-day process for this. Damages are on us.
Sale Items and Gift Cards
Sale items and gift cards are final sale and not eligible for the Empty Jar Promise.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get a different product is to request a refund on what you have and place a new order for what you want. We don't process direct exchanges because it's slower for everyone.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason, with or without explanation. For EU cooling-off returns specifically, the item must be in the same condition you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. (The Empty Jar Promise is the broader, more generous option for everyone else.)
How Refunds Work
Once we've confirmed your refund, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Banks and credit card companies sometimes take a few extra days to post the credit on their end, so give it up to 15 business days total before worrying. If more than 15 business days have passed and you don't see it, email info@buttface.com and we'll chase it down.
